Sometimes the most important lessons come from the quiet moments. While treating a horse who had been working hard on his tempi changes and canter pirouettes, I was reminded of the power of keeping things simple. A few minutes of gentle touch, before and after riding, can offer meaningful support to a hardworking body. In a world full of techniques, tools and advice, this reflection explores why simple, consistent care often does more for our horses than complicated interventions done occasionally.
